"VOLUNTEERING IS SOMETHING THAT I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT TO DO ALL MY LIFE, AND TO GIVE BACK TO OTHERS IS WHAT I BELIEVE WE ALL SHOULD DO AS HUMAN-BEINGS."

Dazzling Diamonds Dancer, Valedictorian, Star Student, and future software engineer, Brianna Ambler is a force to be reckoned with. However, it is her heart and her passion for helping others that sets her apart as the incredible leader she is.

"Brianna has exhibited the type of character that should be multiplied to make our society a better place", said Dazzling Diamond Dance Team Coach, Michelle Andrews. "She completes all tasks asked of her and goes above and beyond what is required to ensure that others around her are not left deficient."

Ambler is no stranger to hard work. Coming from a single-income household, Brianna has taken up a job at Wing N' Burger Factory, working 30-40 hour weeks, while also working as a nail technician on the side to help aid with her upcoming college expenses.

Her work ethic is also evident in the classroom. "I worked endlessly to be the best student I could, to ensure I would be eligible for scholarship money", said Ambler. "I received straight A’s throughout my entire high school career, earning me a 4.5 GPA, participated in and led clubs, completed volunteer work, and more."

Determined and strong-willed, Brianna is sure to achieve any goals she sets for herself. Ambler said, "Regardless of how I’m able to afford college, I will still be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology this fall!"

Brianna plans to major in computer science at Georgia Tech, her dream school, in hopes of becoming a professional Software Engineer and establishing her own application production company.

"BY BLESSING OTHERS WITH THIS GIFT, YOU ARE ENTERING A CYCLE OF GIVING AND PROSPERITY, WHICH IS A CYCLE THAT I WOULD LOVE TO CONTINUE WHEN MY TIME COMES."

CREATING SOLUTIONS

Ambler's drive has translated to a remarkable impact on the community around her.

"She has always shown the ability to face challenges and obstacles by finding solutions, not averting them", said Michelle Andrews.

Brianna has been able to combine her passion for helping others with her software skills. "During my junior year, I discovered a major dilemma amongst my school system", said Ambler. "There was an obvious breach between the student body and staff, relative to promoting and providing quality scholarship resources, so I took the steps necessary to provide a solution. Utilizing my technological skills, I created The Scholarship ATM, a web-service providing students with clarity about all things scholarship-related."

As the senior service project organizer and Vice President of the National Honors Society, Ambler launched a series of school beautification projects that allowed students to repaint baseball sheds and dugouts, football storage rooms, trash cans as well as to provide food to those in need.

Understanding the value of pouring back into communities, Brianna has also volunteered over the years at Pine Ridge Elementary, her former school.

With as much as Ambler does, it can be easy not to prioritize one's wellbeing."Reminding myself to indulge in activities that bring me positivity, surrounding myself with positive people, and engaging in positive interactions all produce positive results in my life and keep me motivated", said Ambler.

"It seems like just yesterday I was a freshman and in a blink of an eye, it’s time to pick roommates and move out of my home", said Brianna. As she transitions into the next chapter in her life, Brianna will surely continue to be the leader and role model she is, removing obstacles and achieving her dreams one step at a time.
